Spring Bocce League at 20 Deep
Bocce ball at the winery is back for spring! Form a team of 2 to 6 players and join us Wednesday nights on the lawn. Games are at 5:30pm or 7:00pm. The season runs five weeks, then a week off for the 4th of July, with playoffs on July 8th. We’ll have a food truck on site, plus wine, local craft beer, and N/A drinks at the bar. Entry fee includes team shirts.
Start Date: Wednesday, May 27th
Schedule: 5:30pm and 7:00pm matches, 5 weeks + 1 week playoffs
Playoffs: Wednesday, July 8th, 5:30 – 9:00pm
Teams: 2 to 6 players per team
Entry Fee: $250 per team (includes shirts)
About the Courts
This is lawn bocce. We play on grass, not a regulation court surface. The ground is bumpy, the rolls are unpredictable, and that’s part of the fun. If you’re looking for a serious, competitive league, this isn’t it. If you want to hang out with friends, drink some wine, and throw some balls around on a Wednesday night, you’re in the right place.
How It Works
Each week your team will be randomly matched up with an opponent. You’ll play best of 3 games (games to 10 points, tiebreaker to 5). Three points are up for grabs each week:
- Win 2-0: You get 3 points, opponent gets 0
- Win 2-1: You get 2 points, opponent gets 1
- Lose 1-2: You get 1 point, opponent gets 2
- Lose 0-2: You get 0 points, opponent gets 3
At the end of week 5, total points determine your seed in the playoff bracket. Playoff games are single elimination (games to 10). The championship match is best of 3.
What to Know
- Check in at the bar 10 minutes before your match
- Bocce balls provided
- Courts are 60 ft by 12 ft lanes marked on the lawn
- Food truck on site each week
