Part-Time Vineyard Associate

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Vineyard Associate to join our team. This role involves hands-on vineyard work, assisting in the cultivation and maintenance of our grapevines, and ensuring the overall health and productivity of our vineyard. The ideal candidate will be passionate about viticulture, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy working outdoors.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the planting, pruning, and training of grapevines.
• Perform routine vineyard maintenance tasks such as shoot thinning, tucking, and weeding.
• Monitor vine health and report any issues such as pests or diseases to the Vineyard Manager.
• Harvest grapes during the harvest season, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Operate and maintain vineyard equipment and tools.
• Support the Vineyard Manager in executing vineyard management plans.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in agriculture, horticulture, or vineyard work is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays during peak seasons.
